Thursday just passed, at a small space in Dalston, there was a T-shirt launch like no other.
With vodka and raspberry-filled red-cups, gold-specked champagne (which one had to plunge their arm into a bin of ice to retrieve) and a perfectly square room conveniently attached to side of Bardens, with everybody's favourite bar owner Umit manning the door, it was the perfect atmosphere to present three new T-shirt designs and an array of framed prints from Ted's Draws.
Illustrator Ted Pearce himself was there to take orders for his old and new drawings featuring Morrissey, Sade and R. Kelly which were all available in tee, print and framed form. The crowded space spilled out onto the Dalston strip and into next door which turned into a typical Bardens after party. Fun Thursday struck again.
If you missed out, tomorrow is the final day of their pop-up shop so head down to 38 Stoke Newington Road to get your share of tees and beer.
If you can’t make it down, head here quick, the first drop sold out in only a few days.
